It requires passion, resolve and vision.This 6-month program will set you up to manage projects at whole new scales and levels of complexity.
Structure
Students will complete four core courses that provide basic skills in planning linear projects, addressing risks in linear projects, leading projects and an introduction to complex systems generally. The strategy underpinning the design of the nested Master of Applied Project Management is to provide a set of four courses in the Graduate Certificate section of the program which provide appreciation and basic skills in planning, as follows: The basics and core skills of linear project management and planning of projects in 'Applied Project Management 1' The risks which projects experience in 'Managing Project and Systemic Risks' Leadership of projects in 'Leadership of Organisations' Exploration of complex systems in relation to managing complex projects in 'Systems Fundamentals'.

Assessment
Assessment consists of a combination of group and individual work. The format varies across courses and may be in the form of oral presentations, written and/or practical assignments, quizzes and class participation.
Entry requirements
For those who are based in Adelaide, we will be offering a blended delivery mode that combines face-to-face with remote learning in as many courses as possible, taking into consideration social distancing and hygiene. All lectures will continue to be delivered online for the remainder of the year, with some exceptions.
For our students who are studying offshore for the remainder of the 2020 Academic Year, the University will continue to offer high-quality access to the learning resources remotely. This includes all lectures, tutorials and other support material. Students will be advised in advance if there are course components that cannot be provided in remote mode and, wherever possible, offered alternative courses.
