Studying the part-time Graduate Certificate in Communication will further develop your knowledge and proficiencies and apply communication principles to global issues and organisational trends.

Building on prior studies in your undergraduate degree, you will focus on the direct application of communication to issues relevant to senior management decisions.You will explore a unique set of skills in terms of analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, across a range of professional communication environments.

Progression from this course to the Graduate Diploma in Communication and the Master of Communication is available by enrolling in additional units.Work Integrated Learning is a key focus of this course and you will be given the extensive opportunities to connect with industry, including real-world case studies, industry-linked research and practice projects.In making an offer to an applicant, the University will give consideration to a range of factors including English proficiency, academic record and/or employment experience.If you’re interested in pursuing a career in research, we provide a clear pathway to the Master of Communication degree.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have an undergraduate degree (AQF level 7) or equivalent as approved by the University Admissions Committee.In making an offer to an applicant, the University will give consideration to a range of factors including English proficiency, academic record and/or employment experience.

Additional Admission Requirements

An academic IELTS or equivalent of 6.0 with no band score below 6.0.
