Completed your arts undergraduate, but realise you want to specialise?

An Honours program is what you are after.

You will prepare for your research project at the postgraduate level in key areas such as history, literary studies, political science, Indonesian, sociology and southeast Asian studies.

This course builds your understanding and critical evaluation of aspects of human society, its history, culture, political development, and diversity, with opportunities, in particular, to study northern Australian and southeast Asian societies.

Compulsory Core - 80

Compulsory Core units totalling 80 credit points as detailed below:

Thesis project totalling 40 credit points. Students may enrol full time or part time as per the study plans. Either (per semester)

Entry requirements

Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree or equivalent in an arts-related discipline or field with at least a credit average, including completion at credit level or above of undergraduate units or equivalent in the proposed field of honours study.
