This course provides professional knowledge and skills in information technology (IT).

In the GDIT, you will gain a broad understanding of IT applications in industry as well as specific skills in programming, databases and project management.

You will choose one unit from one of the three majors in the MIT (software design and development, networks and information security, and mobile application development) and one general elective.

These skills will help you to manage future business challenges, enhancing your individual advancement and employment opportunities.

To gain entry to this course, students must have:

  • A bachelor degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college, or equivalent, completed with a minimum cumulative GPA 4.0, or
  • A completed CQUniversity Graduate Certificate in Information Systems, or
  • A completed CQUniversity Graduate Certificate in Information Technology.
