About

The Associate Degree of Human Services will provide you with a foundation understanding of the political, social and cultural environment in which people in the human services work.

The course will enable you to gain an understanding of psychology, sociology, and history of Aboriginal and Islander people.

Skills will be gained in working with people either individually or as part of a family or other group.

You will have the opportunity to understand how undertaking research can advance your practical skills and your work demonstrate an understanding of professional practice.

This course aims to equip you to work with both Indigenous and non-indigenous people.
