In this course, experienced registered nurses will have the opportunity to enhance their expert knowledge and skills within their specialty area.

You will use advanced skills and knowledge to develop professional autonomy to critically reflect on practice and be able to adapt to new situations in the clinical dynamic.

You will also use advanced technical and communication skills to theorise about developments that contribute to professional practice or nursing scholarship.

The Graduate Diploma of Clinical Nursing serves as an exit point for Registered Nurses enrolled in the Master of Clinical Nursing pathway.

Specialist practice areas include:

renal nursing, medical and surgical nursing, intensive care, coronary care, rural and remote nursing, generalist nursing, orthopaedic nursing, oncology and palliative care.
