Our four-year undergraduate psychology course provides you with the current minimum academic requirements to pursue a career as a psychologist.The Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) may also be used as a pathway to the Bachelor of Psychology for students who do not meet the initial entry requirements, as the ATAR (or equivalent) for entry is lower.

Entry requirements

Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
Bachelor of Psychology

Applicants for the Bachelor of Psychology must meet the following Admission Requirements:

A completed High School Certificate (or equivalent) with an ATAR of at least 75 (including adjustment factors) OR Have completed at least 8 subjects or more of a Bachelor (or higher) level qualification with a GPA of 5.0.

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirement for the Bachelor of Psychology may be eligible for entry into CSU's Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology). This course is identical to the first three years (equivalent full-time) of the Bachelor of Psychology. There is an established course transfer pathway between the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) and the Bachelor of Psychology in the third year.
