Entry requirements

Admission to the Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology is competitive and requires:

  • completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited three year sequence (either an APAC accredited undergraduate program or an APAC accredited Graduate Diploma) within the previous 10 years;
  • a Grade Point Average of 5.0 or better in an APAC accredited Graduate Diploma or in the core psychology level 2 and 3 subjects of an APAC accredited undergraduate program; and
  • the successful completion of PSY301 Advanced Research Methods in Psychology or PSY461 Advanced Research Methods in Psychology;
  • OR
  • to have what is deemed to be the equivalent of the above three requirements from another institution.
