MJRP-CVENG v.1 Civil Engineering Major (M ProEng)

Curtin University

About

This major/stream is part of a larger course. Information is specific to the major/stream, please refer to the course for more information.

Master of Professional Engineering in Civil Engineering offers an opportunity to develop knowledge and enhance professional skills in Civil Engineering. The course covers relevant sciences and engineering principles in the area of civil engineering materials, analysis and design principles, numerical methods, geotechnical principles and foundation, water resources engineering and management, and structural health monitoring. The course also covers other components necessary in developing engineering projects, including risk analysis and management, construction cost and project management, and environmental engineering management. Upon the completion of this course, students will demonstrate their knowledge and ability in applying theories and technological principles in a broad field of Civil Engineering that will enable them to practice as a Civil Engineer in a specialisation filed of their choice.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks and other essential study materials.
