Restoration is becoming an increasing area of focus within the environmental portfolio and is a $2Trillion global enterprise encompassing marine, aquatic to terrestrial and desert ecosystems. This uniquely Curtin University study stream builds the skill set to place the students at the forefront of this discipline and set them on the path to advanced training through the Curtin Centre for Mine Site Restoration, the largest research facility of its kind in the world.

Career Opportunities

A stream in Restoration leads to employment opportunities in the private and public sectors. These may include working in Mine Site Restoration, Ecological Restoration or Biological Restoration.
