Certificate IV in Education Support
Federation University Australia
About
Our Certificate IV in Education Support will prepare you for an industry that the Australian Governments predicts will have an additional 50,000 jobs within the next five years.
You will learn how to work collaboratively with teachers to support students with special needs including disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, culturally diverse students and students at risk.
You will also study child development and being skilled in supporting students’ literacy and numeracy learning.
Better still, you will undertake a 100 hour practical placement within a school, working with teachers in the classroom environment to build on the skills and knowledge learnt in class.
So whether you aspire to work in public or private settings, in schools or community organisations, our Certificate will provide you with the tools needed to support both students and teachers in a variety of settings.
You might even use this course as a launch pad into a Bachelor of Education.
