Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Fundamentals

The Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Fundamentals can be completed in six months of full-time study and is offered by the College of Science and Engineering.

The course articulates with the Bachelor of Information Technology and is also offered as an exit award for students enrolled in that degree.The Undergraduate Certificate is available in an online delivery mode.

To qualify for the Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Fundamentals a student must complete 18 units, with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic, according to the following program of study.

COMP1210 Cybersecurity for a Connected World (4.5 units) COMP1711 Database Modelling and Knowledge Engineering (4.5 units) COMP1102 Computer Programming 1 (4.5 units) ENGR1762 Networks and Cybersecurity (4.5 units)
