Marketing and Arts enables you to study complementary subjects to further enhance your employability, and develop core marketing and business skills that can be used in artistic arenas.With this double degree course, you'll have genuine diversity of choice, and your options are only as limited as your imagination.This course leads to two separate degrees:the Bachelor of Marketing, andthe Bachelor of Arts.You will gain all the benefits of each degree course and be fully equipped to pursue a career in either field separately or to combine the two in your chosen work.
Structure
Double degree courses include the features of the component degree courses, except that electives may be reduced.
Marketing
B2036 Bachelor of Marketing is a specialist course that develops through the themes of foundation business knowledge, specialist discipline knowledge and capstone experience.
Part A. Foundation business knowledge
This will provide you with a study of marketing and the impact they have on decision making in organisations.
Part B. Specialist discipline knowledge
These studies will develop your capacity as a critical and creative professional who is able to apply your knowledge of marketing to provide discipline based solutions for business. Units contained within the discipline specialisation may meet the requirements for professional accreditation bodies.
Part C. Capstone experience
The capstone unit will consolidate your knowledge and skills acquired through the study of your specialisation and provide experience in multi-disciplinary processes and decision making
Arts
A2000 Bachelor of Arts is a comprehensive course, structured in three equal parts. In the double degree course you complete the following two parts:
Part A. Arts listed major
This will provide you with a focused program of study that will develop your practical and theoretical skills and knowledge in one Faculty of Arts listed major area of study. You will learn to critically analyse, apply and communicate an advanced level of understanding of the concepts and theoretical frameworks that constitute the knowledge base of the area of study.
Part B. Arts specified study
This will expose you to several arts disciplines areas of study contributing breadth to your knowledge of the arts, humanities and social sciences. It will also give you the opportunity to learn about several areas of study before finalising your choice of major and minor.

All applicants must satisfy the equivalence of the VCE subject prerequisites.
VET Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma graduates:
Applicants will require a minimum of 60% average to be considered for selection. Preference will be given to applicants whose prior studies are related to the course. Programs that involve competency-based assessment without grades or marks will not meet the admission requirements.

Higher education
