Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mechanical) / Bachelor of Business (pre 2017)

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(Mechanical)/Bachelor of Business program provides students with an opportunity to undertake concurrent study in mechanical engineering and business whilst completing two awards.

In general, a combined degree program offers greater breadth of learning, enhancing the academic and professional qualities gained in each separage degree.

At the same time, it recognises the increasing need for students to graduate with multidisciplinary skills.

This program offers a sound introduction to the fundamental principles of engineering science and practice as well as systems while the business component involves selecting a major sequence from either international business, industrial relations/human resource management, management or marketing.

Students will also have the opportunity to undertake an industrially related project in their final year of study in the engineering degree and must also complete 12 weeks of industrial experience throughout the program.

On successful completion of the program students will have:
