About
Nutritionists focus on issues that affect the whole population.
They are employed in a number of industries to analyse food supply, government policy and eating behaviours, and to develop new ways to promote healthy lifestyle choices and prevent diet-related disease within communities.
Nutritionists can apply their expert knowledge to a number of nutrition services but are not qualified to provide medical nutrition therapy to individuals or groups in hospitals or other clinical environments.
