About

The Bachelor of Business (Honours) is a one-year program designed to further develop the knowledge and skills of your chosen discipline with a focus on research.

An RMIT Honours degree provides a distinctive competitive advantage in the global job market and offers a pathway for further research and learning into Research Masters and PhD programs.During this program, you will deepen your knowledge of a key area of business by focusing on a current business topic.

You will also sharpen your analytical and research skills through coursework and the completion of an Honours Research Thesis.

You will design an independent research study, employ research methods and techniques, provide insights into complex business issues or problems, and plan, execute and present an Honours Research Thesis under the supervision of a research experienced academic.

Entry requirements

Academic Requirements:

An Australian bachelor degree or equivalent in a business discipline that includes a major in economics and finance, entrepreneurship, management, human resource management, international business, marketing, accounting, information systems, or logistics from a recognised tertiary institution with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 (out of 4.0)

Entrance requirements for international onshore applicants: Additionally all non-Australian residents and overseas full-fee paying students are required to meet RMIT English language requirements. Selection Task:

To be considered for selection, your application must include a statement (maximum 500 words) outlining a potential title for your thesis, a clear description of your proposed research topic, and a concise explanation of why the topic is of current interest to your chosen business discipline.
