About

The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Hons) program has been designed to prepare you for a career in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Australian pharmaceutical industry has undergone rapid expansion and this is expected to continue.

As a result, the industry will require an increasing number of graduates to work in areas such as drug design and development, human clinical trials and drug regulations.Helping you transition to a career in the pharmaceutical industry are the following capstone courses:ONPS2540 Professional Research Project 1:

Development and Implementation.

ONPS2541 Professional Research Project 2:

Evidence Portfolio.This program requires in on campus attendance.

Entry requirements

Program entry requirements

Applicants must

  • have completed the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program at RMIT University, or an equivalent undergraduate degree, and
  • have been successful in the interview process with an industry placement provider to gain an approved placement for the program. For graduates of the RMIT Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program, this interview process will have occurred in the relevant course in the last year of that program. Graduates of other equivalent bachelor degrees should contact the program manager as soon as possible to arrange an interview process with an industry placement provider.

English language requirements

A minimum IELTS (Academic module) overall score of 6.5, with no band below 6.0; or equivalent.
