About
The Bachelor of Fashion (Merchandise Management) program is designed to develop a work ready fashion merchandiser who will have the requisite skills and knowledge to succeed in the rapidly evolving fashion and textiles industry.All courses in the program require on campus attendance with on line learning support provided.In this program you will develop marketing strategies for a competitive global fashion and textile environment.
This includes strategic analysis of:- The changing marketing environment both internal and external- Strategic tools and perspectives including qualitative and quantitative market research- Product and customer analysis- Global and local supply chains and how you can lead with them- Distribution and sustainability decisions.This degree provides the management, entrepreneurial and business knowledge and capabilities to work as a manager in retail, merchandising, buying and planning in large-scale fashion operations within the global fashion industry.
You will apply fashion-merchandising theories related to consumer demand for apparel and related products.
Concepts of market intelligence, merchandise styling, sourcing and the role of buying are evaluated and interpreted.
You will also learn to identify and apply industry-relevant software including design, retail, supply chain management and manufacturing packages.You will develop work ready capabilities to promote yourself to prospective employers or potential clients in a local or global context.
In your final year you will undertake a capstone experience in MANU2209 Major Project A and MANU2210 Major Project B.
This experience will enable you to synthesise and integrate your knowledge, connect theory and practice, and demonstrate your holistic achievement of the program learning outcomes.
As a graduate of this program you can expect to be employed in fashion, advertising and marketing, brand management, product development, buying, merchandising, and range coordination.

Entry requirements
Academic entry requirement:
Successful completion of a Vietnamese final year Senior High School qualification and the provision of the Bangtot nghiep tung hoc pho thong (Upper Secondary School Graduation Diploma - Trung Binh/Kha/Gioi) or equivalent.

Applicants who do not meet the academic entry requirement may be eligible for selection if they have completed 3 years of work experience in the fashion merchandising industry.
English language requirements
A minimum IELTS (Academic module) overall score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent.
