The Graduate Certificate in Business Information Technology is a stand-alone award that offers a pathway for further learning leading to the Master of Business Information Technology, or could be an early exit point if you are enrolled in the Master of Business Information Technology.

The program aims to broaden your knowledge and skills if you are entering with a qualification in an unrelated discipline;

if you are from a related discipline you will deepen your existing knowledge and skills.Graduate Certificate in Business Information Technology seeks to provide you with the knowledge and skills to operate confidently and effectively in a global technological business environment.

This program is designed to produce ethically and socially responsible professionals who have the potential and knowledge to create successful business information systems solutions drawing on their technical and leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, systems approach, innovative professional practices, and strategic and organisational skills.The program has a strong emphasis on providing you with a body of knowledge and experiences, through a combination of lectures, tutorials, workshops and seminars, which reflect the practicalities of the real world, especially concerning Information and Communication Technology management and e-business.

Theory and practice are appropriately blended to allow you to appreciate and develop an understanding about practical and ICT-related issues in business.This program seeks to develop graduates, who can apply sound critical thinking and judgment and prepare professionals in the areas of business analysis, IT consultancy, and project management.This program is delivered on-campus.

Entry requirements

Academic Entrance requirements:

Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent or higher level qualification in any discipline.

Alternate Entry:

No prior academic qualifications but a minimum of 5 years full-time (FTE) work experience is required.

Applicants will be required to submit a CV.

Entrance requirements for international onshore applicants:
