About
The aim of this program is for you to develop theoretical knowledge and skills in advertising in the increasingly convergent and diverse communication industries.You will examine global advertising practices and be conversant with key principles and processes that underpin the constantly evolving advertising industry.
You will engage with industry professionals while developing skills in managing advertising, media and strategy planning, creative evaluation and campaign development.Most classes in this program are delivered face-to-face at the RMIT City Campus.On completion of the program you will be a reflective and responsive professional practitioner, who can work collaboratively in international and interdisciplinary teams.
You will be prepared for professional roles in advertising and promotional agencies, or consultancies and other organisations (business, government and non-profit).

Entry requirements
The Graduate Diploma of Advertising (GD197) is available as an exit award only. Applicants must apply for the Master of Advertising (MC249).
