Our Bachelor of Business is taught in a dynamic environment where fresh ideas and a global outlook are always flavour of the month.Work placements are a feature – you can complete internships either in Australia or abroad in your field of interest, building your professional networks as you earn credit towards your degree.You'll learn foundational business principles in law, accounting, economics, management and statistics.
You can also pursue specialist knowledge from a diverse range of majors, including aviation (that includes a specific pathway to gain a Commercial Pilot’s Licence), or majors in finance, accounting, international business, management, human resources and marketing.Our graduates gain the professional, critical thinking and communication skills to run their own businesses or pursue careers in marketing, product management, investment, finance and more.

Entry requirements
- In accordance with University Rule 2 Section 2 – Eligibility for Admission to an Undergraduate Award Course, applicants may apply for admission to candidature in the Bachelor of Business.
To be eligible to receive the Bachelor of Business students must complete 288 credit points, comprising:
- 8 core units, and
- 1 major, and
- a second major, or 96 credit points in elective units.
Exit awards
Students may be eligible to exit with an Associate Degree of Business after completing 192 credit points comprising
- 8 core units and
- 4 major units, and
- 4 elective or major units.
Students may be eligible to exit with a Diploma of Business after completing 96 credit points, comprising
- Any 4 core units, and
- any 4 elective or major units.
- Candidates who have successfully completed the Diploma of Business through SCU College may be granted Advanced Standing for up to eight (8) units in the Bachelor of Business.
- Candidates for the Bachelor of Business Aviation Management Major who have successfully completed an AQF level 5 Diploma qualification in an Aviation related field, may be granted Advanced Standing for up to eight (8) units in the Bachelor of Business.
- Candidates who have successfully completed the Associate Degree of Business through SCU College may be granted Advanced Standing for up to sixteen (16) units in the Bachelor of Business.
