This program has been developed, and is taught and awarded by the University of Sydney, and accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board.
It is taught in Singapore at the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM).For twenty-five years, the partnership between the University of Sydney and SIM has allowed almost 3000 of Singapore's most talented nurses to graduate with a related degree.The Bachelor of Nursing Post Registration (Singapore) is open to registered nurses who want to extend their clinical practice and progress as a nurse leader in Singapore.Upgrade from a nursing diploma to a degree level qualification by studying the Bachelor of Nursing Post Registration.
This course will enhance your knowledge and skills in nursing by advancing your critical thinking and clinical decision making.The Bachelor of Nursing Post Registration (Singapore) is offered part time over one or two years and is taught in the block mode with online support.At the beginning of each semester, leading academics from Sydney Nursing School deliver the face-to-face components of the course, including lectures and tutorials, in a two-week block, with some units having additional face-to-face hours mid-semester.
Entry requirements
Admission criteria
Admission to the Bachelor of Nursing Post Registration (Singapore) off-shore program in Singapore requires:
(a) O level English or satisfaction of the English language proficiency requirements detailed in the faculty resolutions; and
(b) a Diploma in Nursing from Nanyang Polytechnic or Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore; or
(c) an approved diploma in nursing from an approved institution; or
(d) a Certificate in Nursing from the Singapore School of Nursing, or its equivalent; and
(e) current employment as a registered nurse in Singapore, with a minimum of 12 months experience.
