Graduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Complementary Medicines

The Graduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Complementary Medicines has been developed and is delivered by experts in complementary medicines, evidence-based practice, medicines information, herbal medicine, nutrition, drug interactions, ethics and law from the University of Sydney School of Pharmacy.

This initiative is in response to the substantial number of Australians who are choosing to integrate complementary medicines with standard care in the overall management of their health.Why study this course?How will you learn?Who should study this course?

Admission criteria

To be eligible for the Graduate Certificate in Evidence Based-Complementary Medicines you will need a bachelor degree or higher award in pharmacy or other health related degree leading to professional registration as deemed appropriate by the School.

Credit for previous study

If you have previously completed relevant other studies at tertiary level you may be eligible for credit for previous studies also called 'credit transfer' or 'advanced standing' - for the Graduate Certificate in Evidence Based-Complementary Medicines.

You have the option of applying for credit as part of the course application process or your may do so after enrolment. Credit towards the Graduate Certificate in Evidence Based-Complementary Medicines will not be granted for undergraduate units of study.
