Graduate Diploma in Jurisprudence

One of the Law School's key strengths, Jurisprudence comprises the teaching of legal theory, with a focus on philosophical and sociological aspects of law.

This degree is designed to expose students to the importance of legal theory in its broad sense, which includes philosophical reflection, sociological theory and comparative enquiry.

Admission requirement

Available places will be offered to qualified applicants based on merit, according to the following admissions criteria. Admission to candidature for the Graduate Diploma in Jurisprudence requires a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney; or an equivalent qualification.
