About
The Graduate Diploma in Learning Sciences and Technology is intended to meet the needs of future and current e-learning professionals, working in both the government and education sectors who are seeking to advance their careers in the field of e-learning or technology-supported learning.You will complete core units of study introducing you to the learning sciences, educational design methodologies, innovative practice and emerging ICT, and a systems view of learning and change.
You will then pursue a pathway of either professional or research elective study.The professional pathway will appeal to you if you're looking to work as a learning and development manager, an instructional designer, a multimedia learning designer or a learning strategist.The research pathway will suit you if you want to conduct research in ICT-supported learning or if you're planning to progress to a higher degree by research.
Entry requirements
Admission requirement
A successful applicant for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Learning Sciences and Technology will hold:
- a Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science and Technology, Information Technology, Arts (Informatics) or Psychology AND relevant postgraduate studies or one year's full-time professional experience in relevant field; or
- a Bachelor's degree and relevant postgraduate studies or a Bachelor's degree AND two year's full-time professional experience in a relevant field; or
- completion of the embedded Graduate Certificate in Learning Sciences and Technology of the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification.
