Study sexual and reproductive health at Sydney and develop a nuanced understanding of the challenges of sexual and reproductive health in Australia and internationally.In this course there are four specialisations on offer.
If you choose a public health or a generalist 'no speciality' pathway all units of study will be completely online.
If you choose HIV and STIs or Pyschosexual therapy and reproductive health and fertility, these specialisations are also mostly online, however they do require a 2 week intensive face-to-face session on campus.
Both options are extremely flexible and will allow you to tailor your study schedule around your lifestyle.
Globally, the challenges of sexual and reproductive health including HIV/STIs, infertility, and unintended pregnancy continue to be a significant public health issue.
Challenges to sexual function and wellbeing also impact on the health of individuals.
Comprehensive prevention and treatment of sexual and reproductive health issues requires a thorough understanding of the psychosocial contexts in which they occur as well as the biological and diagnostic aspects of sexual and reproductive health and wellbeing.
Designed by clinical and academic experts, the program enables students to address these challenges head-on, through flexible units that deliver maximum professional relevance and choice.

Entry requirements
Admission criteria
Admission to the Graduate Diploma in Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) requires:
- successful completion of the embedded Graduate Certificate in Science in Medicine; or
- a bachelor or postgraduate degree in a health or science-related discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification.

This course is also available to medical graduates as a Graduate Diploma in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health).
