The Graduate Diploma in Transport focuses on areas concerning the engineering, urban planning, and business management of transport.This professional qualification is ideal for graduates wanting to pursue a career in the ever-growing global transport sector or professionals already in the field wanting to upskill.It is designed to develop your critical understanding about the prevalence and identification of transport systems, core capabilities for analysing and designing such systems, and proficiencies in broad interdisciplinary analysis.It is based on our Master of Transport but requires fewer units of study.

Entry requirements

Admission requirement

To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:

  • an Australian bachelor's degree or higher in a cognate* discipline

*A cognate discipline includes business, management, commerce, economics, project management, engineering, physics, geography, architecture or planning.

For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution and qualification.

Units completed in the graduate certificate can be credited to the graduate diploma. Students are able to apply to upgrade from the graduate diploma to the master's degree.
