You will be part of a hand-picked group of around 50 students who work together in an inspiring environment.You will gain hands-on experience working with multinational corporations such as Deloitte, PwC and Procter and Gamble, making invaluable contacts and forging future networks.The degree is a 60 credit point (12 months full-time or 2 years part-time) pre-experience program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a career in management in your chosen field.You will develop the skills that businesses demand in their future leaders by working directly with companies and in highly interactive learning environments.Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) are available for this course for eligible domestic students.
This means that your course fees are subsidised by the Australian Government and you pay a student contribution amount (SCA).
CSPs are limited in number and are allocated based on academic merit.
Entry requirements
Admission criteria
To be considered for admission, an applicant is required to have:
- an Australian bachelor's degree or higher with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification or
- an Australian bachelor's degree or higher with less than a credit average (minimum 50 percent required), and satisfactory performance in the GMAT (for guidance, the class average score is 630) or equivalent Business School approved admissions test.
Any grade requirements listed are based on the University of Sydney guide to grades.
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and admission criteria are determined based on the country, institution and qualification.

You will need to meet the necessary admission criteria before you will be considered for entry. Please check the admission criteria above.
Step 2: Apply online
You can apply online via the application portal. When you are ready to apply, select the ‘Apply’ button on this course page.
In order to complete your application online you will need the following documentation:
- Your academic qualification details, for example, completion year and grade average
- Resume / CV
- A statement of motivation (maximum two pages) outlining:
- what you hope to achieve professionally and personally by completing the Master of Management
- community involvement and extracurricular activities
- leadership qualities
- awards and recognition
- academic achievements
If the results of your previous study aren’t available by the closing date, you can still submit an application. Your application will be considered, providing you forward the relevant results once they become available.
We require all requested documents or applications cannot be assessed. Please do not supply any additional documents.
Step 3: Interview (or video)
Shortlisted applicants for the Master of Management will be required to attend a selection interview establishing the candidate's suitability.
