Students will have opportunities to:This course is for medical graduates who are interested in working in the field of HIV and STIs, psychosexual therapy/sexology, sexual and reproductive health.Combine stream-specific units of study with electives to develop your foundational knowledge in your chosen study area, as well as broader knowledge in other areas of interest.

With an interprofessional and multidisciplinary structure, students will develop effective collaborative approaches to employment in a variety of healthcare settings.

Entry requirements

Admission criteria

Admission to the Master of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) and Master of Philosophy requires a medical degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification. Admission to candidature will be conditional upon the appointment of an appropriate supervisor and associate supervisor.

The double degree is only available to international students. Domestic students can apply to undertake the two degrees separately.

The combined degree is available to non-medical graduates as a Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) and Master of Philosophy.
