The coursework will prepare you in research methods, research ethics, biostatistics, and other core competencies.

It will also provide research and clinical placements relevant to your area of interest.

This program is primarily, targeted at biomedical and medical researchers including clinicians and health professionals in both Australia and overseas.

A unique aspect of the HDR programs is an online course component in the first six months specifically designed to strengthen capacity in clinical, ethics, design and conduct.

In addition, students have an option of a one year clinical or industry placement to complement their research

Structure

The PhD and M.Phil. Programs have the same features except M.Phil. students omit the second year of research and the placement option (i.e. semesters 4 & 5). Download the course guide for more information.
