DIPLOMA OF DESIGN
Torrens University Australia
About
Brilliant designers, who are both teachers and industry professionals, developed the Diploma of Design so you can gain some knowledge and skill in design without committing to studying a full degree.
It gives you a ‘taste’ of different areas of design – and that’s ideal if you are undecided or not sure which area to focus on.
You can learn the fundamentals of design and graduate in as little as seven months.
In that time, you’ll develop a broad range of skills from many design disciplines.
You’ll collaborate with other students and enjoy the dynamic learning environment of the Design Studios.
Together, you will explore such topics as the needs of clients, problem solving and trends, while always building your design experience and know-how.
The Diploma of Design provides full credit as a pathway into the more advanced courses.
This means you can use it as a yellow-brick road towards finishing your full degree.
Or you can take what you’ve learned and use it to create some new hybrid discipline the likes of which has never been seen before.
Consider the possibilities if you were to study Branded Fashion Design and Digital Media Design, for example – your fashion parades would be amazing!
