About

After completing this diploma at Torrens, you have the option to upgrade your qualification to a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Counselling) at Jansen Newman Institute.

Students are eligible for membership with the ACA.

You can join as a student member, and on completion of the course you can become a provisional member;

after 12 months as a provisional member you can become a full level-1 member.

It also means you can go onto The Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (RCAP).

All level-1 members automatically are registered against RCAP.

Upon graduation, you can choose to build on your knowledge and enroll in the Bachelor of Counselling where you will receive credit for the Diploma course.
