The Undergraduate Certificate in Health Sciences offers students the opportunity to experience University-level studies in anatomy, physiology, developmental psychology, health and well-being.

Students will learn how to research and analyse critical issues, and will develop skills in presenting information and arguments.

Structure

Students of the Undergraduate Certificate in Health Sciences must complete the following four courses:

  • HLTH1150 Academic Research and Writing for Health Sciences
  • HLTH1000 Human Structure and Function
  • BESC1130 Developmental Psychology (Nursing) or BESC1110 Developmental Psychology (Health Sciences)
  • HLTH1004 Well-Being Fundamentals for Success
*The HE Relief discounted rate excludes the two compulsory courses:
HLTH1150 Academic Research and Writing for Health Sciences
BESC1130 Developmental Psychology (Nursing) or BESC1110 Developmental Psychology (Health Sciences)

Please note that although this certificate is delivered wholly online, the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, Bachelor of Health and Physical Education, Bachelor of Nursing require attendance on the Fremantle campus.
