The Master of Medicine / Surgery of The University of Notre Dame Australia is a postgraduate research degree designed to provide training in research to members of the medical profession.

Entry requirements
The following criteria are required for a student to be admitted to the program:
- Possesses a medical degree from a recognised university.
- Demonstrates potential to undertake and complete a research-based study.
- Currently engaged in clinical or professional practice.
- Satisfy the Dean of the School of the ability to understand and communicate in both written and spoken English at a level adequate for the purpose of pursuing the program of study.
