  • A completed Bachelor degree from a recognised higher education institution; or

Learning outcomes

You will gain an in-depth understanding of the impacts of disruptive digital technologies on workplaces and society, together with the principles and techniques of social media management, online engagement and collaboration and the theoretical principles and design conventions of digital and traditional communication platforms.

You will study four industry relevant and informed courses covering emerging communication discipline areas including:

  • Communication, Media and Creative Industries
  • Industry 4.0 and Society
  • Social Media Management
  • Managing Digital Design

You will be able to apply these principles as you practically produce plans and deliverables for industry engaged partners.

For each course you study, you will need to allocate time for various classes such as lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars and practicals. Plus you will need additional hours to study in your own time to complete assignments, readings and projects and contribute to online discussion forums. So as a general rule, if you are studying full-time you would need to allocate 12 – 26 hours of study when at university and 14 – 28 hours of independent study per week.
