The course looks to provide a balance between considering quantitative risks (such as market, credit and liquidity risks) as well as non-quantitative risks (such as governance and conduct) and examining tools to identify and respond to both types of risks.
The course examines some key historic crises and events in the financial industry (both in Australia and overseas), and regulatory reforms designed to mitigate the chances of re-occurrence.
