It explores the implications of global processes such as offshoring for national employment relations systems and their workforces. 

It shows how the outcomes of global processes are shaped by distinct ‘varieties of capitalism’, in which national employment relations systems are embedded. 

It explores the implications for domestic employment relations of such global institutions as the World Trade Organisation, the International Labour Organisation, and Global Union Federations.For HR majors, this course is a requirement towards fulfilling Australian Human Resource Institute’s (AHRI) accreditation.
