During their careers, ADF officers can expect to play important roles in the management of Defence, but they will also have to interact with business firms, governments and volunteer organisations.

This course prepares them for doing so by developing a broad understanding of strategy, management and leadership in organisations.

In the last decade, Defence has become much more focused on coherent strategic management.

Future ADF officers need to understand how strategic management concepts apply to Defence.

They will also face the challenges of leading change within Defence.
