Combining law with commerce prepares you for a range of careers, giving you the edge as you gain a legal perspective on contemporary and socially responsible business practice.

It provides a program of study in commerce, business and administration and further develops analytical and interpersonal skills and high levels of literacy and numeracy.After completion of a foundation year at the Wollongong campus where you will study core subjects in the Bachelor of Laws degree, you will undertake your second year of study at three of the University of Wollongong’s global locations – PSB Academy in Singapore, UOW College in Hong Kong and UOW in Dubai.

You will then complete your third, fourth and final year of study at the Wollongong campus in which you will study law and commerce subjects.

Industry engagement is an integral component of this degree.

You will have the opportunity to complete four internships!

To qualify for award of the degree, the Bachelor of Commerce Global - Bachelor of Laws, a candidate must successfully complete at least 252 credit points, comprised of:

1. all compulsory Law subjects (114 credit points) as set out in the Course Program below;
2. elective subjects to the value of 30 credit points from the Bachelor of Laws Elective Law Schedule - see Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) for elective options:
3. subjects to the value of at least 108 credit points from the Bachelor of Commerce Course Program, including;
4. core subjects (60 credit points) as set out below. These credit points include three Commerce Global internship subjects including in-company placements, and a capstone subject.
5. at least one major (48 credit points) from the Bachelor of Commerce (excluding the Business Law major).

Candidates for this degree will be required to maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 75 each year for the Bachelor of Commerce Global part of the course to continue in the program.

Part-time Study A student is considered part-time when they are enrolled in less than 75% of the standard load for a session. If you are seeking to complete your undergraduate law degree part-time, you are required to complete a minimum of 12 credit points (2 subjects) per session. A number of the course learning outcomes in each of these degrees complement and consolidate outcomes in the partner degree. Applied across two discipline areas, the outcomes are achieved at a broader and more comprehensive level. Course Learning Outcomes are statements of learning achievement that are expressed in terms of what the learner is expected to know, understand and be able to do upon completion of a course. Students graduating from this course will be able to:
