Structure
To qualify for award of the degree, the Bachelor of International Studies - Bachelor of Laws, a candidate must successfully complete at least 240 credit points, comprised of the following:
- All compulsory Law subjects as set out in the schedule below (114 credit points);
- 30 credit points of electives from the Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) elective list;
- All core subjects for the Bachelor of International Studies, except for LHA 101 (18 credit points);
- A language minor in the Bachelor of International Studies (24 credit points);
- One of the majors listed for the Bachelor of International Studies (48 credit points);
- Electives to bring the total number of credit points completed to 240;
Note:
- Not more than 90 credit points at 100 level.
- Where any subjects have the prefix LAW, the equivalent Bachelor of Laws subjects (LLB) must be substituted.

Learning outcomes
A number of the course learning outcomes in each of these degrees complement and consolidate outcomes in the partner degree. Applied across two discipline areas, the outcomes are achieved at a broader and more comprehensive level.
