About
The Graduate Certificate in Business Administration is nested qualification of the Master of Business Administration degree.
Throughout the course, students learn to diagnose issues in real organisations with a focus on accounting, marketing and employee engagement and talent management.
In addition to acquiring knowledge relating to business disciplines, students also develop academic literacy and skills in critical analysis, problem solving, ethical reasoning, teamwork, communication and reflection.Students take part in a full range of MBA learning activities including relevant and current case studies that compare theory with examples of leading edge organisational practices, guest lectures delivered by industry professionals, peer learning and critical reflection, followed by undertaking assessments that focus on using and applying knowledge and skills in real-life settings.
Structure
To qualify for the award of the degree, the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, candidates are required to complete 24 credit points, comprised of:
- Three (3) compulsory subjects (18 credit points); and
- One (1) elective subject (6 credit points) chosen from MBA 904 or other 900 level subjects offered by the Faculty of Business.
