The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a postgraduate research degree that develops high level research skills through training in research design and provides candidates with the opportunity to conduct a significant research project in their chosen discipline.

Graduates will make a contribution to the body of knowledge in their field of study and be able to communicate this contribution to their peers and the community.This qualification is highly regarded by public and private sector employers and may also provide an entry pathway to a PhD or towards an academic career.

Learning outcomes

Course Learning Outcomes are statements of learning achievement that are expressed in terms of what the learner is expected to know, understand and be able to do upon completion of a course. Students graduating from this course will be able to:
