This degree provides a global study experience, personal mentoring and support, as well as the opportunity to gain real-world skills and work- experience – all while seeing the world.Students will undertake their studies at four of the University of Wollongong’s global locations – Wollongong, Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore, combined with six week paid internships with one of our program sponsor.
Structure
To qualify for award of the degree of Bachelor of Commerce Global (Honours) a candidate shall accrue an aggregate of at least 192 credit points for a Finance major and 198 for an Accountancy major including:
- 54cp of core Bachelor of Commerce subjects
- 6cp of internship subjects
- 48cp Accountancy or Finance major
- 48cp of Honours subjects
- plus elective subjects to attain the required aggregate
Please note students must complete all three internship subjects.
In addition to the 54 cps of core subjects, 6 cp of internship subjects and 48 cp for the Accountancy major an additional 18 cps of specified LAW subjects are required for professional accreditation. A further 6cps 300-level LAW subject is required to complete a Business Law minor. See Accountancy table below for subjects required to be taken.
No more than 72 credit points of 100 level subjects shall be completed.
Candidates for this degree will be required to maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of a least 75 ach year to continue in the program.
