This dual degree program prepares future leaders for a management career in business, tourism, hospitality or event management.

When studied full-time students are able to complete two degrees in four years, enhancing their career prospects by combining a major in tourism, hospitality or event management with any major offered in the Bachelor of Business Management such as Marketing, Human Resources, International Business or Sustainability.

Entry requirements

To complete the Bachelors of Business Management/International Hotel and Tourism Management

To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelors of Business Management/International Hotel and Tourism Management, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.

A student is required to obtain 64 units comprising - 26 units of compulsory courses from Part A of the BBusMan and BIHTM lists (not including TOUR2010); and 12 units for one major in Part B of the BBusMan list (6 units must be at level 3); and 12 units for one major in Part B of the BIHTM list (6 units must be at level 3); and 12 units for either - a second major in Part B of the BBusMan list; or a second major in Part B of the BIHTM list; or elective courses from Part B or C or a combination of both from the BBusMan and/or BIHTM lists; and 2 units of general elective courses from the BBusMan or BIHTM lists or from almost any other undergraduate program in the University as approved by the Executive Dean. Excluding Part A courses, no more than 4 units may be from level 1 courses. Refer to the BBusMan/BIHTM rules for further information.
