Speech Pathology focuses on the management of communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
Communication problems can occur in the areas of speech, language, voice, fluency (stuttering), hearing or literacy.
A speech pathologist assists people of all ages, from children to adults, who present with communication problems due to developmental delays, disease or injury such as stroke, hearing loss, traumatic brain injury, and intellectual disability.
They also work with clients who have feeding or swallowing problems.

To fulfil the requirements of the Master of Speech Pathology Studies, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
