The Graduate Diploma in Arts in Japanese Interpreting and Translation is a one-year, full-time coursework program in interpreting and translation offering a solid grounding in translation and consecutive interpreting.

Translation is in one direction only - into students' (native) language, while interpreting is performed in both directions (Japanese to English, English to Japanese).

To fulfil the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Arts in Japanese Interpreting and Translation, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
