The Master of Conservation Science is an ideal program if you are seeking expanded career prospects with government, conservation and resource management agencies or a research career in the integrative disciplines of conservation, ecology and biodiversity.

You will complete the requirements for the #24 Master of Conservation Biology and then undertake an additional #8 of either coursework or a research project that could lead you to a PhD.

It is an ideal program for graduates and professionals seeking to expand their careers prospects into a wide range of government, conservation and resource management agencies.

Structure

The Master of Conservation Science is a #32 program that will cover the integrative disciplines of conservation, ecology and biodiversity. Students will complete the requirements for the #24 Master of Conservation Biology and then undertake an additional #8 of either coursework or a research project that could lead to a PhD. This is a quota-based program and meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee entry into the program. Students in the Master of Conservation Science complete the equivalent of two academic years of study in just 18 calendar months. International graduates may be eligible for a 485 visa under the Australian Government's Post-Study Work stream. More information about the Master of Conservation Science.

To fulfil the requirements of the Master of Conservation Science, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
