About
There is currently a tremendous growth in the international biotechnology industry and allied service sector.
Research and development managers require scientists with core technical skills, knowledge of commercial imperatives and current regulatory environments.
This Masters program is designed for scientists who want to update their technical and research skills in core areas such as molecular biology, protein technology or bioinformatics, and who wish to acquire more extended research laboratory research than is available through the three semester MBiotech.
The program will provide a strong training for entry to a PhD.
This program is recognised by the US National Professional Science Master's Association as an affiliated Professional Science Master's program.

Entry requirements
To complete the Master of Biotechnology
To fulfil the requirements of the Master of Biotechnology, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.

Early exit points
Based upon course selection, students may be able to exit this award with the:
