About

The Master of Business Psychology is designed for people wanting to consult to organisations to solve business problems.

The program equips you with the core psychology expertise and business acumen essential to enhance individual, team and organisational effectiveness across business, government and not-for-profit settings.

This program is designed for those who are interested in using psychological theory and knowledge in business, without seeking registration as a psychologist.

Structure

Your courses provide the knowledge on how make work safer, more satisfying and more productive for individuals, teams and organisations, design high performance work systems and improve the quality of leadership and transform the culture of an organisation. You will gain hands-on experience solving practical problems in business as part of a team on consultancy projects, and complete internships with external organisations.

Placement courses

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and apply your knowledge under your project courses working as part of a team on consultancy projects, and complete internships with external organisations. Placements will be within a reasonable distance of the UQ campus but you should expect to travel up to 60 minutes away. There will be no extra costs for the placements in addition to course fees except for incidentals such as travel and daily expenses.

To complete the Master of Business Psychology

To fulfil the requirements of the Master of Business Psychology, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
