Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (BAHN)

University of Southern Queensland

About

Back to top Program aims The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) aims to extend student knowledge of their specialisation through higher-level coursework subjects and an independent research thesis.

The thesis requires students to devise a question and research it with the guidance of a supervisor.

The program will actively develop the skills required for research and scholarship at a higher level, such as a research Masters or PhD, and/or in applying knowledge in employment or community service.

It will further enhance students’ personal, cultural, creative and intellectual skills in analysis and communication.

An Honours degree is recognised internationally as extending intellectual depth and skills in research, analysis and writing.
